BEYOND THE COMPUTER MOUSE
Graphic Design is not who I am, it is what I do. Who I am translates into what I do. I am a fun, softball and guitar playing, energetic, vivacious, quirky, sarcastic person who has random and [sometimes] questionable thoughts pop into my head. In short, I'm human.
I graduated from Stevenson University with a degree in Visual Communication Design. I continued my design career as a junior designer at Long Home then moved up to a senior designer at Iron World Mfg. After Iron World I started doing freelance and eventually landed the job as office manager/graphic designer for Avery-Hess, Realtors. A few years later I had the privilege of working for American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as the lead designer. This was a new opportunity as I had never experienced association related work. AAAE developed my project management skills as the work was hefty and quick.
My most recent adventure was with supplier.io. There as able to hone in my presentation and project management skills. I am not a self-proclaimed expert in Powerpoint. That's a win for us all!
Fun Facts: I taught myself how to play the guitar and now play in a church band and a 1999 Jeep Wrangler.
